A big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to #GiftsForChristmas2015 making it the most successful campaign yet.  Here are a few photo's from our collection.

Local man Leon Hughes is fund-raising for victims of the Cumbrian floods. As we've all seen on recent tv coverage, the country has been hit badly by constant downpours of torrential rain. Leon and his family have recorded a christmas song and are asking for donations via his Just Giving page.

We need YOUR help to make sure that children in this area have a good christmas. Children that wouldn't normally be getting anything.

We are asking our listeners to please buy and extra gift for a boy or girl when shopping. As long as it's new and unopened, you can drop them off at Radio Hartlepool on York Road, or Sainsbury's Store at Middle Warren or Dunelm at Highpoint Retail Park.

We've teamed up with Hartlepool Social Services and their children and family departments  who will distribute the gifts to appropriate families.

Meanwhile here's a reminder of last year's appeal.

It's not long to go till we ask for YOUR help for our GIFTS FOR CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2015

Times are hard in and around Hartlepool and there will be thousands of children going without presents this year.

Radio Hartlepool will be asking our listeners to help prevent this by collecting as many new children's gfts as possible.
